For almost 50 years I run the farm in Hagen as an active farmer with milk cows, arable farming and horse breeding. I belong to the generation, who have experienced a development in farming, which has never been faster. I have prepared the field with horses myself, and today we use computer driven machines.
I put my whole heart into my profession, and already as a young man I purchased horses, educated them and showed them here in the region to sell them afterwards.
After getting married we purchased the Holsteiner mare „Urbine H“ and dedicated our work to the Holsteiner breed.
On the national level I have taken several honorary positions.

Born in Weddelbrook, grew up as a Holsteiner country-girl. For 32 years I was a passionated teacher. I found the necessary balance between the intellectual and the physical work in the common feature of the family, in the bulding up of our firm and of course with the animals, especially with the horses.
After my father passed away I became the owner of the farm in Weddelbrook. Since then Klaus and I ran both farms with young bulls, arable farming and the breeding of Holsteiner horses.

We are professional farmers - farmers of passion
Two agricultural farms, professional farming parents, rather reading agricultural magazines than the latin book, how can you easier get to your dream profession ?
After the Abitur I completed a solid agricultural education on foreign farms. Beside studying as an agricultural engineer (FH) I took some practical jobs to learn something else from the world outside, amongst others I went to the „German Equestrian Federation“ in Warendorf and worked on big, agricultural farms.
Since first of July, 2003 I am the daily leader of our two farms.
Beside the successful further development of the traditional farms I would like to contribute to correct the image of our profession.
The horse virus was probably given to me with the milk from my mother. Beside riding, which I have practised since I was a small kid. I was always fascinated by the horse breeding.
All my spare money was used when bying the „Holsteiner mare Lortina“ out of the proven Stem 1463 - this was my start to become an active breeder.

Being pretty young I made my riders test and I did my first showing with my pony Mr. Lavaletto.
Our mare Loanda got twin foals. The filly by Lacapo was given to me by Papa. As a three-year-old I covered her with Jimmy by Joost. 1994 Jonny was born, and later on he was approved by the ZfdP. He has several winnings and placings in jumping classes up to level M/A.

My latest breeding success is „Caddington“ by Carthago - Corofino I, approved at the Holsteiner Approval 2003 in Neumünster, stationed at the Famos Stud, Syke.
At the moment I am studying for a Dipl.-Ing.agr. (FH).
